Information
Payment Policy
What we accept, when you are charged, and what we can and cannot see.
What we accept
- Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- PayPal.
- Klarna, on orders between £50 and £2,000.
- Bank transfer, on orders above £5,000, arranged with us directly.
TO CONFIRM: the client has not yet selected a payment service provider. The list above is the intended set; the final list depends on what the chosen provider supports, and Klarna's limits are theirs to set.
When you are charged
We authorise the full amount when you place the order and capture it when the piece is despatched. Between those two points the money is reserved on your card rather than taken from it, which is why a cancelled order can drop off your statement without ever appearing as a refund.
Card security
Card details are entered directly into our payment provider's hosted fields and never touch our servers. We can see the card type, the last four digits and the expiry date. We cannot see the full number, and neither can anyone who works here.
Payments are covered by 3-D Secure. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment in its own app, and that step is between you and them.
Currency
We charge in pounds sterling, euros and US dollars, depending on the region you have set. If your card is denominated in a different currency again, your bank does the conversion at its own rate and may add a fee — that is worth checking before you order rather than after.
